Clinimetrix can link patients with a specific disease and the MBS services that have been provided to that patient by a doctor. For instance, you can list patients with diabetes mellitus who have had a Care Plan in the last 12 months.
Perhaps more importantly, you can list those patients who have not had a Care Plan performed by your practice, providing the opportunity to add to the patients’ care program if appropriate.
Clinimetrix also helps with Health Assessments
Patients 75 and over who have not had a Health Assessment in the past year can be identified and recalled.
Patients aged 45 to 49 can also be identified if they have not had a Health Assessment. This permits the assessment of people with high-risk family histories, biometrics, behaviour, or illnesses that have not been previously diagnosed.
How does Clinimetrix make the screening process easier?
Doctors find opportunistic discussions with their patients when they attend for other reasons easier and more effective than traditional phone calls or letters. Patients are more likely to accept their doctor’s advice face-to-face and make an appointment with the preventive health nurse.

Instead of sending recalls, Clinimetrix can print out a list for each doctor at the beginning of each day of those patients booked to attend that day who would be eligible for a Care Plan or a Health Assessment.
